When a man with a concealed firearm permit shot a toilet at Carl's Jr., it made national news.
Who wants to wager that this will barely make the local headlines, because he is a cop?
This is from utahconcealedcarry.com. Cinhil was at his booth in the gun show when this happened, selling knives.

The recent discharge at the gun show occurred about 3 shows ago. Unlike Carls Jr and the other incident mentioned, wherein the person who had the AD was a regular Joe with a CCW, that shows AD was by a Police Officer who did not obey the rules. He reached into his bag and grabbed his gun, which he did not have zip tied, therefore not disclosed on entry, and it discharged. The place was silent for a minute, no one was injured, but he was escorted out! Safety is a key element, especially in a large cramped venue. I don't care if you do not declare your carry weapon, but if you are going to have any interaction whatsoever with a gun you want to trade or sell, do get a zip tie on it and respect those around you. handle your weapon as courteously as you otherwise would and above all - Be Safe!
