From FL to NC w/ccw permit

I have a ccw that I got while I lived in florida, can IOC in the same places I CC in north carolina? Has anyone had any problems with OC in clay county/ NC ?

As far as if you OC with an out of state CCW in NC, I am not sure. I do know that NC and FL have CCW reciprocity so your FL CCW should be valid here. You do still have to follow the CCW laws of NC while here. You can read the peculiarities of NC CCW at www.jus.state.nc.us/NCJA/ncfirearmslaws.pdf

You can OC anywhere that you can legally CC, UNLESS the property/store owner has specificed otherwise (such as via a sign on the door or other method).
