When I read the Knoxville News Sentinel this morning, I was confronted by this lovely (sarcasm) article, "Guns-in-parks bill worries officials" http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/apr/23/guns-in-parks/

Basically, it is a pro-control article that uses the normal absurd arguments.

I encourage anyone who lives in Knoxville, or the surrounding counties, to write their commissioners in support of allowing carry in Knox County parks, and also letters to the editor blasting them and refuting the absurd claims of the county parks director.

These officials fail to recognize that their are probably more people shopping in a Walmart store at any given time than people at any of the city or county parks, and no one is getting shot there. No one is misplacing their fireams.

More insane idiots running the asylum. :banghead:
