I am headed out camping next month in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest (site off Mt Loop Highway). I am trying to track down the rules regarding target shooting in the national forest. As far as I can tell, it appears that I must be 150 yards away from anything and must not be shooting over a road or stream: http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/mbs/faq/#10
Does anyone know if these rules are correct? Will I have issues with rangers if I target shoot out in the woods? Are there a better places to shoot rifles in the Mt. Loop Highway area?
Thanks for all the help!!
