We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. I didn't take the poll either. First, I currently feel uninclined to express my self publicly on the matter. Second, I dont have one of those and aint in the market for one so the question is moot. Besides if I ever need one that bad there ought to be plenty laying around on the ground so all I will need is to pick one up.

75% against a new AWB. And this on MSNBC's own site, which is far more leftist than many. This also falls nicely in to the 70-80% range that this type of question usually generates, regardless of website or news item of the day.
There really is no doubt in my mind that the era of publicly supported gun control is over in this country. Now we just have to worry about the politicians.
