Can someone confirm or deny the validity of this sign? Per Handgunlaw.us, "The provisions of this section shall not apply to institutions of postsecondary or higher education."

The sign does say"unlawful" possession, as opposed to lawful? Might be true if there is a portion of the property used exclusively for k-12 education. The sign out front reads adult AND community education.

This building would be no different than trying to carry into the Board of Education building. Even though k-12 students are not present it is covered under KRS 237. It would be unlawful.

I can't comment about the subtleties of KY law, but for the sake of anyone who might not be clear on the terms, "postsecondary or higher" means anything after a high school diploma.
