Looks like Virginia does not have reciprocity with Gergia though. No conceal carry for you. Open carry good to go. Stay out of churches, schools, courthouses.

are you moving here, or just visiting? if you really want to carry concealed and you are a non-resident, you can apply for a permit:

The tough part with researching open carry in Virginia is that there are no laws addressing open carry. The laws address either plain ol' Carry (which applies to Open and Concealed) or Concealed Carry. So Jonesy's advice pretty much covers it (although I'd add state parks to that list, since you'll be open carrying).
