Illegal guns worth $100

Friday, May 15, 2009
MAYOR SAM Jones is trying to take a bite out of illegal guns, and it might do some good.

Anyone who doesn't think Mobile has a problem with guns in the hands of teenagers and young adults should ask the mayor. He says he heard 30 gunshots within an hour while sitting on his back porch one night recently.

So Mayor Jones put up $2,500 of his discretionary fund to start a program to give $100 rewards to tipsters who can remain anonymous

LOL there's gonna be a bunch of disappointed people tryin to claim that bounty off of ya tho.:p
yep, especially since these type of bounties are only paid out after a conviction has been handed down by a jury as a result of a tip.
