I'd prefer leather w/o a snap strap over the hammer/rear of the action. But I am open to any suggestions.

Since there are different models: .357 MAG, 6" barrel, full lug, 6 shot, stainless, plastic/rubber grip(looking for wooden ergo)

You are correct the do exist, however most of the holsters designed for 6" barrels are duty, IPSCor field holsters.

The Serpa isn't leather, you did say you'd prefer leather also the only Serpa revolver I know of is designed for S&W 2" J frames.:p

Simply Rugged makes a good holster, I have two.
Ihave the Hoffner it takes alot of getting use to, the gun sits really high and it isn't leather.

Dillion carries a line of Mitch Rosen Holster but I believe they are for 5" barreled revolvers.
