Did record-setting NRA convention cement decline of anti-gun lobby?

I doubt it. The NRA makes too many compromises and concessions. The antiguners may be quiet, but they won't stop.

Didn't take long for that one to come up.

Like myself, the NRA has often been accused of doing something that it didn't do, and criticized for not doing something when it did.

Not everything NRA does, or doesn't do, makes me happy, but I'm really weary of this kind of thing. It is self-destructive.

Instead of beating up on each other, how about beating up on the Brady Campaign or Violence Policy Center, or certain members of Congress? Now THAT might make interesting reading.

I think that a large, successful gathering like this will certainly make the "Other Side" take note. The NRA members attending the Convention are all voters. Considering the fact that there is a larger number of members that didn't attend, when the numbers are combined I believe the "Anti's" are definitely aware that there is a force there to be recognized. In the end it is the VOTES that matter. BS is free and plentiful but there is only one vote per person (except of course in Cook County).

The NRA lost my support with it's bi-lingualprograms.

The NRA is not the International Rifle Association.

As a NRA/SATF member, I voiced this opinion, and was told bythe NRA to press1 for English.

The NRA, like our federal government, has been infiltrated by Socialists with an anti-Second Amendment long-term agenda, in my humble opinion.Incrementally weathering our unalienable rights, often from within the ranks of those sworn to defend the U.S. Constitution.

Somethings are not negotiable, not to be compromised.

The Socialist Left lack retention, thus they have to be taught this lesson over and over againthroughout history, by those who defend individual freedom and liberty....
