Greenfield - Gun owners displaying their guns in holsters held an open-carry picnic at a resident's home Monday.
About two dozen adults and children attended, Greenfield Police Deputy Inspector Brad Wentlandt said Tuesday.
"They exercised their right to bear arms and it went off without a hitch," he said.
The event, held near S. 28th St. and W. Holmes Ave. was promoted at www.OpenCarry.org.
