Thanks for the info. Just after I posted that I began searching out more info and looks like you have to pay to get the codes.

Also, I am familiar with the alternate channels. It was channel two (2)at the department I worked at (in Georgia).

The programming on new scanners will blow your mind, and cause great frustration, especially if you aren't familiar with them at all. But the knowledgeable people on that site will guide you through any issues.
