I don't think the locations were originally being withheld as it was mentioned in earlier posts by the member in question.But,in case those posts were deleted for whatever reason,I won't say.
With that being said...
I was planning on getting an event together about a month ago but some personal crap came up and I wasn't sure if I would be able to fully commit to something this summer and dropped the ball.
I've scouted around potential locations and know macomb twp and chesterfield twp have several nice parks between them. Mount Clemens has a couple smaller parks too. I also know that of all the townships in the area, macomb twp is the only one that doesn't have its own police and is fully serviced by, ours truly, macomb county sheriff's dept. However, mount clemens is where the sheriff's dept is located and "The Clem" is largely serviced by the sheriff's dept as well. Metro Beach/Huron-Clinton Authority is also serviced by the sheriff's dept. I dunno, maybe harrison twp doesn't have a police dept either.
Anyway, just my unrequested two cents worth. I'm sure there are several places that would fit the bill in macomb county, but of the places I mentioned, I believe there lies the largest presence of macomb county sheriff/deputies in the county.
If someone needs anymore input for potential event locations PM me. I am located in this area.
I would be willing to contribute any which way I can. I just don't think I can fully commit to something right now as it seems everytime I turn around lately I'm either getting overly pinched, stretched, or bent. I didn't want to call a picnic than not be able to show up.
But, if someone else wants to call it...
