I just got off the phone with Lt. Worrall of the Buena Park police department (Orange County), and I asked about the "Laws about carrying guns". He was very courteous and informative. He asked me if I was aware of the "Open Carry Movement", and suggested I look them up on the Internet, as they were very knowlidagble and lot of info.

He said that his officers were well aware of people open carrying and expressed a concern about how I and they might react.

All and all a good call.

Is the next post where you tell us about how police showed up at your girlfriends house and start questioning her about how crazy you are? I hope not. It's good to hear about proactive police agencies taking the initiative and learning about open carrying.

Go to Portillo's and repeat these words: "Gimme a combo dipped hot."

Heaven will be served to you.

+1 to Portillo's. You can even get it all to go if you're having a party. They give you the bread, a pack of frozen beef, a big bucket of theau jus and those incredible hot peppers. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
