I am applying for a park permit to hold an Open Carry Picnic on Sunday July 12 at 11am.

This event is sponsored by Nevada Citizens Defense League and is free to the public, up to 100 total participants. Water, hot dogs and hamburgers will be offered.

Forgive my naievity, but have recent (years) legal events changed the old government/public rules (i.e. post office)? I think I need to brush up. Maybe a sticky is in order, covering current status of common gray-area places?

Thanks for bumping this thread. I have been slacking a little and didn't file the application for the park permit. So, the date is going to be bumped. PICNIC CANCELLED FOR NOW
