After reading over the law about "no car", I would agree with you. If you put a gun on, and ride a bike, it clears up the problem of people not being able to see it. I must say that I do not see any logic in the car ban at all. I guess we just have to push for the car law to get dropped, and the bike should be covered.

Actually it would appear you don't see the logic.

167.31 is a _hunting_ restriction. The DNR got this one passed. They don't want you to have an open firearm in a vehicle because they're afraid you're going to illegally hunt from your vehicle.
