Sorry, I couldn't resist.

My primary carry gun is stainless, so I give it little worry.

If not stainless, I wouldn't sweat it. Assuming you keep it cleaned and properly oiled and so forth, you should be fine for a little while until you can get home and wipe it down.

Same thing I always do, go to work, do my job and go home. If my carry weapon gets wet, I dry it off. (my boss is pro-gun and pro-carry, so it's cool to do this at work)

If your gun only works on sunny days, you need to get rid of it.

Like Citizen said, if you keep your gun cleaned and oil properly, getting it rained on now and then won't hurt it.

Always have a rain jacket or two in the vehicle, so just move to CC when the rains come. Once inside cover, I revert to OC immediately though.

Works for me. :)
