With the number of laws steadily increasing limiting how parents can discipline their children, I can't hold it against anyone if their child gets out of hand. We, as a society, seem to expect people to parent well without allowing them to have the tools to do so.
Anyhow, to the direct topic, sounds like a bunch of BS. Not that far off from normal tactics used in a traffic stop though, to be honest..."mind if I search your car?" and the "you don't have anything to hide, do you?" follow up. It ain't right, but it shouldn't surprise anyone. Mind if I search your bedroom?
