Okay so I was on the internet and came across opencarry.org - am so happy that there are others have the same beliefs as me but we need help in Texas we are mostly gun lovers and supporters of rights down here but I just don't get it why do we have to hide what is only right the constitution says the right to bare arms and yes I've heard the arguments about how that was ment for a militia but I say bullsh*# the founding fathers of this country were very smart just look the created a document that has had precedence to this day I say they knew what they we're doing when they left out what most politicians say was intended for militias let me stop my rant and get back to what I was saying Texas needs open carry for the simple fact of the duty to ones neighbors, strangers, and friends so how do I get started no wait how do we (Texas) get started once more down the road to an open carry policy

Anyway, welcome to the forum neighbor! You're not too far away from me, I live in Waco. I know what you mean about the sad state of affairs in our beloved republic. There was a movement and proposed legislation put it never went so far as a drafted bill. Maybe next session. If you poke around here you can find more info.
