As many of you know, Champps in Reston is VERY gun friendly and has great food. They've seen a slight decline in business due to the general state of the economy, but nothing critical. Four of us had an early dinner there today (July 4th). Carrie, the General Manager came over, welcomed us (we were open carrying), said he and all of his staff carry and have CHP's and love to see folks come in armed.

If you"re looking for a place to have lunch or dinner, this is a place that welcomes you and your gun! Let's support them all we can.

And, yes, I misspelled. It's Champps. Thanks for the correction.

Not liable to get robbed and locker in the freezer are they !!

Love it when a business takes responsibility. Sure could take a bite out of crime if all businesses were to be this enlightened.

Is this isolated to the Champps in Reston or is it perhaps encouraged by corporate?

Yata hey

Unlike the Bob's Big Boy in So Cal (La Cienga Blvd early 80's ) all employees/guest locked in freezer until safe was cleaned out, then the robbers decided to become murderers.
