National Park clarification

If someone could help me clear up the issue of carry in a national park, or at least point me somewhere I could look it up I would greatly appreciate it. I understand that we will not be able to conceal carry in national parks until next year; but, is open carry legal?

I recommend checking the general threads (search for National Park Carry). There are multiple topics on it.

To summarize, the Bush regulation change was blocked in court, so you cannot CC under that rule, which did not change the prohibition on open carry.

The current law does not go into effect for 9 months after the President signed it into law, which I think puts it in February, and it allows firearms carry in accordance with the state where the park land is.

So, NO carry at this time.
