Beware of online appraisal outfits that will try and lowball you and then make an offer to get your stuff and sell it at a much higher price than they suckered you for. One outfit tried to get my 1950 K.38 Combat Masterpiece away from me for $300. If you haven't seen it check the thread in selecting a handgun and tell me I wouldn't be nuts to let someone have it for less than 1200!
