I saw a nice run of positive experiences and thought I would share mine. After all its these we all prefer to read anyway.
Story goes,4 of us hiking up the Trail at Wallace falls, from parking lot-top not a single peep over my 9MM on side and Buddies 45 in shoulder holster, plenty of looks as the younger whizzed past us old folks catching our breath. I know A 9MM AGAINST A BEAR, sorry all I own at the moment. It was when I got to the top and guzzling from my canteenI heard "look he has a firearm" a female voice said "COOL" I kid asked why, female said for protection, I heard something about wildlife, she may have been equating to the Cougar's and Bear's in the area. When I caught my breathe and finished drinking (seemed like 20 minutes) I turned to see a nice looking blonde mom with Hubby and kids. I smiled, she smiled, than I was asked by my wife asking if I wanted a PP&J, moment over.
