KS attorney general has stated persons who hold permits from Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Texas do NOT have to be a resident of the issuing state to carry in Kansas.

On the down side, Nevada no longer honors Florida or Utah permits!

I guess Nevada is no longer a vacation spot for me, as they no longer honor any of the 5 permits that I have. I will take my tourism money elsewhere. To Branson Missouri for the shows from now on.

To bad Nevada, you messed up and now you wont be paid. :P I'm sure I wont be the only one taking my money elsewhere.

Here is a link that will get you the ruling on the issue...

Consider working to apply for a non-resident Nevada permit on your next visit. You could always OC through NV next time.

Yes, you can OC, but not on The Strip, or any of the tourist districts. The casinos and resortswill trespass you and the police will harass you every time they see you.

I go for the shows, and the mass majority of the shows are at the casinos and resorts.

I'm not wasting my vacation time and money to come take training and applyso I can get a Nevada permit that gives me the ability to carry additionaly in Nevada only. If they cant see fit to pass and keep sensible reciprocity laws, I will take my tourism money elsewhere.
