Hi. I just picked up my new Glock 19. I use a Blackhawk CQC holster cause I find most IWB holsters uncomfortable for me.

Right now I'm debating whether to get a stainless steel or tungsten guide rod to replace the factory plastic one. Any opinions? Does anyone have either of these upgrades? How do you like it? Make a difference?

What's a good price? I found a stainless steel one online for $20, and a tungsten one for $50. Reasonable? Where should I buy glock parts?

Thanks for the help!

I don't like the idea of a plastic guide rod.

The extra weight ought to reduce muzzle flip.

I'll ask my brother about it, he has a stainless steel guide rod in his Glock 19

I have one in my XD, and muzzle flip was nearly eliminated.
