W.Pa. man acquitted in case of gun at Obama rally

BEAVER, Pa. - A western Pennsylvania man has been cleared of criminal charges after bringing his handgun to a campaign rally for President Barack Obama.
John Noble, of Industry, wore the 9 mm on a holster and carried a Bible to the August rally to protest Obama's remark that Americans who felt left out by the system clung to guns and religion. The rally was in Beaver, about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Police said the 51-year-old Noble wanted to be disruptive. They say he posted on the Internet that he was taking the gun to "test what would happen."
Friday, a jury acquitted him of a disrupting a public meeting and a judge acquitted him of disorderly conduct, but called his actions foolish.
Noble wasn't charged with gun offenses because he was legally carrying it.

Then why on earth was he arrested? :cuss:

The cops who charged him and the prosecuting attorney should be fired-immediately.

They should also be given a copy of the Constitution in their exit interviews.

However, instead of just sueing the city/county, as usual, sue each of the arresting cops and the DA as well. It's obvious that sueing the city/state/ county, etc. dosnt work to keep "officials" from violating people's rights because it aint their money.But I'll bet that ifthese asshats start getting personally sued and the bucks come out oftheir pocketsthat there'd be a lot less instances of officials violating people's rights. We private citizens are held individuallyaccountable for our actions, so public officials should be heldindividuallyaccountable for their actionsas well.
