Kind of a stupid question but unsure. Was wondering if it is legal to carry open or concealed inside a bowling ally. My only concern would be that they do sell alcohol out on the floor. Any one know the rule on that?

The liquor control board has to designate the area as off-limits to those under 21 for it to be illegal to carry there.

They allow kids in there, so you're fine. Might be against policy though.

It's the same reason the law cited at the entrance to the Clearwater Casino doesn't apply. People under 21 are allowed inside.

Careful--are you sure that casino isn't on tribal land?
Doesn't matter. Their "rules" are not legally binding on non-tribal persons.
However they CAN ask you to leave the premises. Refuse and you will get a visit from a law officer that CAN arrest you.

So non Tribal members can rape, kill, pillage cause outsiders dont have to obey thier rules/laws?

Tribal jails have many non-Tribal members in there.

I went bowling the other day with my pistol, and it was a PITA. It is really in the way of the bowling movement. I ended up wrapping it in my sweatshirt and setting it on the chair where I was sitting. Made me a little nervous whenever I had to go up to bowl as I couldn't keep a close eye on it.

Gotta go crossdraw holster when bowling. That's the only thing that works.

That way the ole pistola is there if you need it. Like if you get the first eight, bury the next one up to here, and get tapped.

Hate those dman ten pins...:cuss:

Non-tribal members still have to obey Federal and state law on tribal land.

The casino in question cites the RCW (I forget the number) that states that bars are off-limits. It is an incorrectly-cited law.

I have no doubt they could kick you out, but how is that different than anywhere else?

True they are tribal land but they are still have to fallow federal law. The term "tribal land" is dose not allow them to do what ever they want. Plus tribal law is only applied to tribal members. All RCWs still apply to us white boys. Have asked multiple Suquamish PD this

Yeah, those non-tribal people are in the Suquamish jail because they violated RCWs, not tribal law.

"Indian tribal courts do not have inherent criminal jurisdiction to try and to punish non-Indians, and hence may not assume such jurisdiction unless specifically authorized to do so by Congress." SCOTUS Oliphant vs Suquamish.

Available for download at NWCDL.org.

They seem to assert that the federal government is responsible for prosecuting all crimes committed by non-tribal members on reservation land, so no, you can't rape, kill, and pillage because the federal government would prosecute you.
