This is from the NRA website. NYS and NYC does NOT recognize other state permits. If you are driving thru the state to another destination, you may transport. If you are staying here, you will be in violation of state law if you're packing a concealed pistol. There is no OC in NYS period. ;)

Consider your firearms to be banned in New York City. If they catch you, they can twist it around to possible felony charges. Federal firearms owner protection be damned.

You are either unarmed in NYC or you are a criminal. Period.
