First, make sure you and your family members and friends have signed the petition!

Second, spread the word about the petition link to other you know - email lists, blogs, etc. Post the link and urge people to sign it!

Third, every time you see an online forum related to guns, especially newspaper article comment forums, POST the link and urge others to sign.

Online petitions generate a lot of publicity and Nik the petition founder is going to use the email addresses only he can see to keep you informed as legislative developments arise, and they will. in Virginia last year, an online petition against driver "abuser fees" resulted in prompt legislative action repealing them outright and refunding all the fines!!

Any thoughts on placing an ad in the Milwaukee Journal or any other paper that has state wide coverage?

We could place an ad that consists of the entire OCDO pamphlet. That would reach many people who don't hear the radio ads but still read the news paper.

Could run the ad for a week or two.

Do you save every name of this petition incase it get hacked? Therefore you still have all the names to prove to the state government. This is just a thought.

There is no 'proof' requirement to state government. Indeed, I don't know of an elected official required to accept such a petition.

probably the picnics and radio ads - if we get more money, we can run more radio ads to drive people to the main page and get them to sign the petition. And if even just a couple online media outfits publish a clickable petition link, the thing will really take off.
