First Sunday of the month beginning September 6th. Location to be determined in Shasta County.

Informal meetup will be opened to vetted members of OpenCarry.Org and their friends. OC not required. Discussion of next locale will be entertained as well as possible community outreach.

I'd like to come to one these meetings, but I seem to recall a few horror stories from Shasta County. Do you intend to confront locals in the name of the cause? That would be stupid. Please consider moving the meeting to a more receptive environment.

Why would you assume the goal is to cause a confrontation?

And I don't think any person on this forum has ever gotten "in a cop's face"... ever...

No, it's much worse than a congressional hearing. ;) Basically, I will be looking at what datemembers signed up, post count, whether or not the member understands the limitations of UOC, and demonstrates responsibility.
