Synergy (from the Greek syn-ergos, συνεργός meaning working together) is the term used to describe a situation where different entities cooperate advantageously for a final outcome. Simply defined, it means that the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts. Although the whole will be greater than each individual part, this is not the concept of synergy. If used in a business application it means that teamwork will produce an overall better result than if each person was working toward the same goal individually.

I am a member of both Oath Keepers and OCDO.Lets venture between the two entities, and marry membership/patronage to each.

Defend the constitution and understand what it means, while exercising the 2A-RKBA.

On both sites I see a level of constitutional understanding and professionalism I have never witnessed. If we join the two we can be even more informed. We can capitalize on the information shared by the two great movements.

Our nation is hurting because the citizenry is in discourse over health care, bailouts, our representatives voting how they feel, not based upon what we the peoplewant, and the uninformed outrage against the New Hampshire OC'r at the Obama meeting. Information is our power, we owe it to ourselves and our children to take every advantage to be knowledgeable.

One day our movements between Open Carry/2nd Amendmentand, defending theConstitution of theUnited States and our States will collide.

LETS DO IT NOW. http://oathkeepers.org/oath/ Join Both.

The people at the town hallsare average citizens and they are unifying in there cause against the subversion of our Constitution. We too must stand united.

ONE MANS PARANOIA IS ANOTHER MANS AWARENESS.

I AM AWARE!

I just signed up for the forum at Oath Keepers. I consider that a good way to begin the process of learning about the folks who belong to OK. I had heard of OK before but thought it limited to military etc. I'm still not sure it's not.

I am also a member of both groups.

We cannot separate ourselves from the threat facing our Constitution and the continued assault on our liberty if we really want to retain our right to keep and bear arms... it is the overall battle that we must engage in on a daily basis if we are to succeed.

Bad idea. The Oath Keepers are not the sort of group we want to associate with. A fringe group breathlessly raving about the coming US concentration camps, the secession of states, and telling people that we live in times more perilous that 1775 is silly. What could such an association do for this organization? The Oath Keepers are a solution (and a poor one at that) looking for a problem.

The only synergy that the Oath Keepers association would offer would be if both organizations sought to get themselves laughed at more quickly.

Some men's "awareness" really is paranoia!

I'd rather be ridiculed now and vindicated later, considering the stakes.

What types of things would have to happen, before those doling out the ridicule now either cease or begin to agree with the so-called alarmists?

A rhetorical question, but would be interesting if anyone wants to attempt to quantify it.

Some mens' assessment of 'paranoia' is really ignorance. And that's why we have a debate.

Maybe we just don't want to associate with someone who believes in Saul Alinsky's Rules for radicals.... "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions."

People like you cannot have a peaceful conversation with others because you ridicule and impugn any and all whose views differ from yours.
