This as it turned out was some very old news ( a couple of months)and I jumped the gun before doing somefurther investigation.So I deleted it.

But I posted the link for anyone interested in the stupid stuff Department of Defense comes up with sometime. It also looks like gun rights Americans made a fuss and actually made a difference in this case.
