You exercise any rights you like - I'm all about that.

I personally hope you don't hold up a sign talking about the Tree of Liberty, though.

This is my personal opinion, for what it's worth:

I think that when you are trying making a point and exercising your rights, that you make 1 point - that is, go for the 1st Amendment or the 2nd Amendment. Mixing Amendments tends to muddle things. When trying to "get through" to people, it's best to keep it short, simple, and uncomplicated.

Of course, do as you like... We're still a free country for now...

Good luck at the forum!

we are not a free country and haven't been for over a hundred years.

my sign says "socialism is violence" on one side and "no govt no masters" on the other

i oc at my town hall and everything was fine, the cops got about 20 calls which was hilarious but they finally told the dispatch to stop sending it out, and to tell the people to stop calling.

lots of cops around, chief of police, david wu... etc... its funny watching the liberals get pissy

OUTSTANDING

That is the goal we all need to work towards, across the state and then the country.

yea all the typical portland type mean looking old woman were calling the cops. i saw one peaking her head out from behind some cars with bug eyes on the phone, then they must've told her something she didn't like and she made a mean face and hung up.

they bussed in a bunch of mexicans from salem and paid them to be there, they got let in the back door and asked a lot fo the questions, most didn't speak engrishe. they hardly let anyone in, and even the govt loving sheep that were there to support him were pissed because they couldn't get in.

only one person asked me about my "socialism is violent" sign, i told her that if i don't pay my taxes for other people's health care someone with a gun will come and take me away, and kill me if i resist, her response was "THAT'S RIGHT". :X

i was on the other side of the street from the library because i didn't want to get involved in any shouting matches i just wanted to hold my sign. i think most of the people thought i couldn't be on the library, and when everyone started yelling stuff i couldn't hear, i walked over there and then i could see all the mean old portlanders eyes and them asking the cops blah blah... they thought i shouldn't be there either

one of the cops had his ORS book and tried to tell me about the public building law about carrying, but i helped him out by showing him the preemption about concealed permit special class citizens.

they didn't try to make me leave. and everything was fine.

lots of people were taking pictures of me and my sign, the other side said "no govt no masters".

one old man told me i was really irresponsible for carrying there, and i told him that it was much more irresponsible to advocate stealing money from someone and giving it to someone else. i don't think he was listening.

other than that i got a couple i didn't know you could do that and one "my wife wouldn't let me bring my gun".

i made a joke to some people that i could've really caused a ruckus open carrying my akm which would've been just as legal :celebrate

it all went well.

i have a few pictures but they aren't of me, maybe i'll be in the news. if you see head line crazy hillbilly brings gun to health care town hall in st helens.

i was impressed by the cops and i would really like to be friends with one of them if they would just quit their job
