About the Warren Picnic

So the Warren picnic has been talked about a lot recently due to the huge police presence. I know we talked about it several different times during the Macomb OC picnic. I was wondering if anybody had gotten any pictures from that event? Also, somebody mentioned that somebody had gotten figures on how much it cost to have all those policemen out there?

Just looking for some more information on what sounds like was our most exciting picnic ever, heh!

I don't care if a million cops from all around the country come more the better. Just remember just because you have your CPL doesn't mean a reckless cop cant still violate your civil rights. Once you carry a pistol it gives them just another item to be able to take advantage of you if they wanted. Good thing for audio/video recorders.

As for brandishing getting your pistol and putting it in your holster would not come close to what brandishing. That is unless putting your pistol in the holster requires you to wave it around pointing it in the direction of people.

This definition comports with the meaning ascribed to this term by courts of other jurisdictions. For example, in United States v Moerman, 233 F3d 379, 380 (CA 6, 2000), the court recognized that in federal sentencing guidelines, "brandishing" a weapon is defined to mean "that the weapon was pointed or waved about, or displayed in a threatening manner."

if you even hold your gun too low in your trunk and you don't have a CPL you could get a ticket for transporting a weapon illegally.. I can't afford to take that chance.
