In America, we typically address people by their first and last name. For people in positions of power, such as the President of the United States of America, we generally refer to them as "President <last name>." Your use of Hussein as a derogatory term has one purpose and one alone - to try and draw some bull@#$% connection between President Obama and the deposed dictator Saddam Hussein. If you can give any other reason why you would call him that, go for it, but as of now it reads like me taunting someone whose middle name is "girlyman" by saying somehow it has bearing on the discussion. It doesn't, it looks childish, and it does nothing to further your ends.
Did you complain when people called Bush "W"? Seems like a double standerd.:D
Yes, especially when it was used as "dubya" to imply lower intelligence or class. It's tacky and a child's ploy. Since I did complain then, how is that a "double standerd (sic)"?

Dude, time to put the tinfoil back on. This outer fringe stuff is not giving a good impression of the great state of Idaho to others who read these boards only only serves to make you look nuts.

You think the outer fringe is:

1. The Pledge of Allegiance

2. John Wayne

3. Davy Crockett

4. A person open carrying a firearm

You agree with these actions:

1. Govt attempts / actions

- National Health Care
- Bail out Plan
- Firing CEO's
- Take over running private companies
- Telling Europe and the World we were all wrong and they were right
- etc

Where are you originally from (where did you grow up) ? Certainly not ID or WY or MT ?

I was born and raised in Idaho and still live here. I think the outer fringe is folks like you who are off the deep end and so blindly conservative that they get all bent out of shape over a "proposed" amendment that will never pass. Do a little research into the Amendment process. There is no way it could pass. The fringe is a person who uses the President's middle name as an effort to rile up themselves and others. It is incredibly juvenile, the man is still the duly elected President of the United States and if nothing else deserves some respect for taking on one of the hardest jobs in the world. The fringe is those who yell on the internet without putting much thought into an argument and repeatedly spout Far Right rhetoric as a scare tactic.

The Pledge is un-necessary, I swore my oath to the Constitution. John Wayne was an actor, Davy Crockett was over-rated and favored gov't handouts and I am all in favor of OC. Anything else you have for me?

1. Crockett - Let's tell the whole story as I posted above for another:

Tell the whole truth: Read the whole text - word for word then maybe you will understand. - these both are just about his Congress days, if interested you are surf for the Indian fighting days and the Alamo.

2. Pledge is "un-necessary".

I am going to guess you did not grow when we said the Pledge everyday in school, before the radical liberals stop this and pray in schools.

The only sports I do are rodeo, shooting, hunting, fishing, and packing more or less, at most rodeo's the Pledge is still said and at all rodeo's the Flag is flown and the songs are sung and prays are still said.

3. I swore my Oath to the Constitution in military and did my Oath daily overseas many times on different deployments in combat zones.

4. Yes, John Wayne was an Actor and he is "America" everything that was right about America. Did you watch all the youtube's ? Did you listen to every word and understand what every word meant ? I guess if someone was around 30 years old or less, they would have been born after John Wayne died and VN was in the past for most. I guess if someone was around 40-45 years old or less, they would have been born after we did all those nuclear attack drills in school, etc. It was not probably 12 years old or older in 1968 ( the drastic Gun Control Act of 1968 based on nearly word for word the NAZIS Germany Gun Control Act of 1938 under HILTER), probably never walked into a hardware bought pistol and pistol plus a rifle plus a shotgun all with ammo, paid cash, filled out no paperwork, and walked out the store with all the guns and ammo at ages 12-13 years old. Different mindset back then than now, we are much more Socialist now and are headed to be Commies if not careful. Been on the slippery slope 100 years this year.

5. You did not mention these :

You agree with these actions:

Govt attempts / actions

- National Health Care
- Bail out Plan
- Firing CEO's
- Take over running private companies
- Telling Europe and the World we were all wrong and they were right
- etc

6.Most Conservatives today are very much more liberal than werevery liberal Democrat was 50 years ago. So what does that make Democrats today ?In my view - radical Socialist / Facist / Commies.

7. Do I expect this amendment to pass now ? I hope not. 50 to 60 years ago - No Way. Now - maybe.3 to 10 years from now the way we are headed (unless we change directions) - YES

i.e. - None of this crapola did happen and would not happen 20 years or more ago:

- National Health Care
- Bail out Plan
- Firing CEO's
- Take over running private companies
- Telling Europe and the World we were all wrong and they were right
- etc

8. Too many think they have to give this Administration everything they want, which is not true, we do not allow Dictator's and we should not jump to every whim of this Administration as though they were Dictator's. Nobody force anyone into the job, a simple "No Thank You", would not have been in the job. If the Republicans in office had not acted like they did for years, then Democrats would not be in office.

I fully agree as one poster said above in 2010 and 2012, the tide will shift back to the other side - the Republican side. Personally, I would like to see the U.S. Constitution Party win every election from city to county to state to federal.

9. Watch this short youtube, listen to the words and understand the words, and no this is not John Wayne.

Why does all this sound oddly familiar? Didn't they say G.W. Bush was going to do the same thing? No, wait, he was going to declare marshal law* to stay in office. Completely different. Never mind, carry on with your ranting.

*To forestall what I know is coming, I am fully aware it's martial law, but it was more often than not misspelled marshal.
