I have not looked up any other stories to find out exactley what this mand did, but I noticed this in the story, "In exchange for the no-contest plea, Andregg agreed to drop a charge of failing to have a firearm inspected."

I thought you didn't have to get your handguns inspected anymore. Sounds like this guy didn't get a bargin in his end of the plea bargin.

Just noticed that, looking for more info on it. My bad.

It sounds like he may have been open carrying, but the facts in all the stories I have read so far are vague.

From what I understand, Muskegon & Kent Counties are not the place to "catch a case".

I would bet that the charge is related to the "medical condition" and carrying while "under the influence of it".
Rights are like muscles. You must EXERCISE THEM to keep them from becoming atrophied.

That does sound correct as far as the charges, but I am curious to know how he was "carrying" the gun. People obviously saw the gun, so I'm assuming he was either OCing, or he had it in his hand.
