It raises my dander a bit when police or anti's aire their opinion of OC in their little clever sound bites.

They came up in my detainment and I kept my wits enough to respond to the garbage excuses why OC isn't appropriate:

I was told "that this isnt the wild west"--

My response- Yeah, you're right, crime is much worse now...

I have heard "that this isnt TEXAS"...

My response- Youre right. Open Carry is illegal in TEXAS and six other states... None of which is California.

If you have heard similar sound bite objections that have no reasonable foundation in fact... list them here and we will see what we can do to think of some quick comebacks...

Oh, and

Add that little something extra to any refusal or negative statement by including the words "duh" or "what-ever." Be sure to pause slightly between "what" and "ever."
