This is an interesting email I received this evening:

If someone had a permit and holstered a pistol to their dog's abdomen, open carry, in a little holster decorated with dog bones for a walk around the neighborhood, would that be illegal?

Some people are beginning to think outside the box.

It's going to be cheaper to buy a dog than pay the new state fees for permits.

I would suggest that for this to be legal, the dog would have to be the one with the permit!

OC or CC is only legal WITH a PERMIT in CT.

Now where do we find a certified instructor in CT, willing to pass a dog through their course?? LOL!!
