Thread: The bill of rights
My good ma'am/sirs,
In thinking ahead to the future of open carry, I wonder what I would do in the event of a violation of rights.
Should an action so inappropriate by government be taken, state or federal, what value would I put to claim against them?
I mean to imply that my rights (those mentioned in the constitution, specifically the bill of rights) are priceless. To add further, those rights are not understood to any other country in the world, which only adds to that infinite value. How can I possibly find any figure that would appropriately compensate me should they be violated?
With that, I suppose I would sue for the entire budget of either the state of federal government, but in truth, that would still fall short.
Just some thoughts before bed.
