The Seattle PD's West Precinct is holding its annual picnic and open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at 810 Virginia St.

Visitors will have an opportunity to meet members of the department, get tours of the precinct and enjoy some barbecue. The event is sponsored by the Seattle Police Foundation.
