I'm a Florida resident and I'm traveling to ur
beautiful state to go ride the Hartfield McCoy
trail and the outlaw trails (wagon wheel trail).
I was wondering if anyone has or is it legal
to OC. If OC isn't legal what about CC

OC is legal in wv but not on the H/M trails. They have a no guns sign at the trailhead. so that ruins it for cc too...
mortonrml,
Please explain how you came up with OC is "illegal" on the Hartfield/McCoy Trails and a "no guns" sign ruins it for OC and CC? Is there any code on the books that you can quote to back that up? Thanks.

Oh and hunter8657, please enjoy your trip to WV and I wish you a safe journey.

I forgot, I will be staying in Gilbert
I did a job in Gilbert a while back. I live in Charleston. Didn't realize how far out it was. Also didn't realize how close it was to Coalwood/Welch/Bartley area, where my mom grew up. Anyway, the area we were in was very pretty. Good luck on yer trip.

I received an answer from the above addy.

Thanks for the email James, firearms are not permitted on the Hatfield McCoy
trail system. If you need anything else just email me back or call
304-752-3255.
Thanks Again

I would never lay my firearm on the Hatfield McCoy trail system. It would get mud in it.

Does anyone know if there a state law that backs this rule?
