We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Aha......heard about the Mateba before....probably an expensive gun, since I've never seen one in person. Heard they are pretty rare.

Shot one of these at the Arlington Range last year. A .44 Magnum and it was fun. Because the barrel is lower and closer to the centerline of the overal gun the recoil is more of a "straight back" action and the muzzle doesn't climb as much. That said, I wouldn't buy one. Too big and bulky with far to much to go wrong. Kind of defeats the main purpose of a revolver, it's simplicity and reliability.
