Just to be clear, IIRC, the gun didn't leave it's holster. He was CC'ing and pulled his jacket back trying to be a tough guy. I'm not saying that isn't or can't be defined as brandishing, but it stayed in it's holster.

I do believe you are correct, H024. Of course, MSG's point is dispelled nonetheless. Someone in VA did, in fact, brandish away. The sad thing IIRC is that he thought he was in the right because the woman might have had something on her. The woman had a big mouth, was 5' 4" and he was 6' 4" or so.

He was properly chastised by most here, I recall.I don't know if he ever "got it." It was prollybefore MSG's time on OCDO.

As stated above, it was indeed before my time here. I also didn't KNOW the rump ranger that brandished his pecker at Lynnhaven Mall, but I do remember reading about it in a thread that datedsometime before I arrived "on scene".

I don't know anyone personally that has brandished their pistol... I stand by that assertion.
