Howdy!

I thought I would put together 2 comprehensive lists of businesses that DO and DO-NOT want to have us as customers. They are Google-Powered Lists, and keep their own stats. When the either list gets to be 25 or so long, I will make a custom map that SHOWS you where these places are.

The only thing I ask is that the places you list; you have actual first hand knowledge of their firearms policy. Please don't post somewhere that your brother's friend's girlfriend's uncle went to a fews months back. Money talks, and if their name is on the black list- they wont be getting any of mine. Thats why I ask that you be honest about who you list. These are tough economic times, and I'd hate to unnecessarily hurt a business financially, but on the same note, I WANT to support businesses that support the 2A.

Here are the lists:

Click here to add to theNO-GUN Business List: http://tinyurl.com/nogunshere

Thanks for the help!

Carry on!

Update: Here are the results of the lists (Updated in real-time):

PRO-GUN RESULTS: http://tinyurl.com/klngb4
NO-GUN RESULTS: http://tinyurl.com/my5ec9

If anyone knows of other forums elsewhere where this list would be useful, or can think of additional information to aggregate, please post a reply!

Another update:
Note about new bar carry law:

In order for a "No Firearms Allowed" sign to have legal force of law, it MUST be posted NEXT to the LIQUOR LICENSE. If you are posting a biz to the black list, please verify that the business is legally posting the sign, not just a sign by the door. Remember, you can legally carry into the business to verify, but must comply thereafter. (As for me and mine, if i verify they post a no carry sign- they need not worry- i wont ever be back.)

Carry on!

Thanks! As we are quickly approaching 25 in both lists, i'm going to go ahead and start mapping them.

Also, if anyone has and thoughts/comments about the list- please post!

I dont understand the people who put that they CC in these businesses and the business has no problem. IN theory, the business may have no idea whatsoever.

The idea with following that data is to let you know, as a reader, how reliable that data may be. Since many people both open and conceal- I want to track how they were carrying when they report if a biz is friendly or not.

All the IHOP's in my area have signs. I think a lot of IHOP's are franchised, so it would probably be up to the francishee.

Hi,

At lunch at Blanco at La Encantada today, I noticed "no firearms" posted. I asked the manager if the policy was due to La Encantada's (which is posted no firearms for the whole mall) or due to restaurant chain corporate policy.

When the restaurant was choosing a location to open last year, firearms were prohibited at all alcohol-serving restaurants, so I figure if the policy was imposed by La Encantada, I wouldn't hold it against the restaurant too much.

However, the restaurant's manager told me he did not know La Encantada is posted, and that their policy is a Blanco corporate policy.

Take care,

Eric
