sadly, this was one of the first J calls i responded to when i first joined the fire department...except the boyfriend was supposedly showing his girlfriend how to drop the hammer on his revolver...needless to say, it went off and killed his girlfriend.
why you would show someone how to drop the hammer with a loaded firearm, in your home, while they are standing in front of the firearm is beyond me...stupid yes, but still somewhat sad. :banghead:
then again, there are those who speculate that he wasn't really showing his girlfriend how to drop the hammer...:uhoh:
