Michigan Government question

Sorry for not knowing for sure, I feel dumb. I looked on the Michigan gov website but nothing there describes the actual form of government. My guess is that it is representative but nowhere I can find it to be described as a republic or commonwealth or whatever. I do know there are folks here who can tell me.springerdave.

We have a form of democracy which is called a Representative republic.

Michigan is the same.
