Cut from that article:

"Police are reviewing thousands of gun ownership files to determine which weapons have lapsed registrations and which are now banned, he said."

This is the full problem with the idea of any registration. Once the Government knows who you are, all they have to do is go down the list, and knock on every registered gun owners door. At that point, you will have one of two choices, die as a free man, or live as a slave. It is a direction that we should never have to even think about. I like the way the last Pres. of the NRA put it. You can have my gun, when you take it from my dead hands. Canada, shame on you!

What will you do when they come for yours?
I feel that we are going in the right direction in Wisconsin. We will have to keep our eyes open for places like Greenfield, but as long as we stick on the people "in charge", we should come out with the full rights that the 2A gives us. It might not change fast, but things are getting better. This has been a huge summer for LEOs' in our State. Next year will be even better. You just need faith, and go to town meetings, and carry as much as you can, and talk to any one that will talk to you about it. I say we are not Canada, or any other place. We are America. We might fall down from time to time, but we will make the full trip. Just think about how big this will all be by next summer.
