I believe it's currently a grey area.
There are rules concerning firearms (http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/hunting/regulations/wmarules.pdf), but there is also preemption to take into consideration. You may want to search this forum for "Wildlife Management Area" and look at some of the previous threads.

Of the VA hunting regs. Basically it says that in order to carry a firearm in a WMA you must be a CHP holder. Itdoes not say that the firearm must be concealed but you must be a CHP holder.
