You, Wisconsinite, might look to our nanny-laws. I doubt that we could do such without license from the state.

bohdi wrote: This was not a raffle, it was a free drawing. You can do the same thing andgive a EBR away in WI. So long as it is a free"door prize" and you do not sell "raffle" tickets, you should be good to go.

44.02 (6) "Raffle" means a game of chance in which tickets or calendars are soldand a drawing for prizes is held.

I-ANAL and I would hate to argue this

For $25, donors were given a barbeque lunch and twenty shots with a machine gun. A free drawing determined the winner of the semi-automatic AK-47, valued at $700.
to the IRS or to the WIDoR or whatever. It appears that a donation of $25 was quid pro quo the drawing. But then - again - I-ANAL and I can be wrong and falsified (h/t Sir Karl Popper).

-I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery. But I am pleading with you with tears in my eyes: If you screw with me, I'll kill you all.
-Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.
    Marine General James Mattis,
