    Maybe they were talking about allowing open carry ofintoxicants on public transportation. That would be more their speed.

    I just saw a news "trailer" for channel 12 saying that Amtrak may be forced to allow weapons aboard its trains.

    My guess would be for alcohol. I do know that the METRA commuter rail system in IL allows alcohol to be consumed on their trains, They even have a "Bar Car" on many of the northwestern suburb lines.

    I have no problems with firearms, expandable batons or tazers but I sure don't want to turn any of these into weapons. I will if I have too but I surely don't want to for no reason.
